The NDA believes that dairying must be viewed as an entrepreneurial activity that brings regular viable income to farm families and generates new jobs for the community.

  To achieve this, the NDA puts in place crop-dairy systems (such as in coconut farm areas and agrarian reform communities), expands commercial market prospects through development of diversified and premium dairy products, designs efficient facilities that can be utilized in the smallhold setting, and provides incentive schemes for compliance with milk standards.
